By its charter, the Metropolitan Drug Commission is a private, non-profit corporation formed by a joint resolution by the City of Knoxville and Knox County. The mission of the Metropolitan Drug Commission of the City of Knoxville and Knox County is to mobilize all segments of our community to individually reject and, as a community, reduce youth use and adult abuse of alcohol and other drugs.
