All veterans who served during the Vietnam era (8-5-64 to 5-7-75) or participated in the listed areas of armed hostilities are eligible for Vet Center services.
Eligible Areas of Armed Hostilities:
WW II in theatre between 12-7-44 to 3-2-46.
Korean War in theatre between 6-27-50 to 7-27-54.
Vietnam War in theatre between 2-28-61 to 5-7-75.
Vietnam era between 8-4-64 to 5-7-75.
Lebanon theatre between 8-25-82 to 2-26-84.
Grenada theatre between 10-28-83 to 11-21-83.
Panama theatre between 12-20-89 to 1-31-90.
Persian Gulf theatre between 8-2-90 to Presidential Proclamation ending Operation Desert Storm.
Somalia theatre between 9-17-92 to Presidential Proclamation ending the Operation.
Any veteran who was sexually traumatized during their military service.
